I was deeply saddened to hear from my mom (Maryl Seeley) about the passing of Calvin. The sadness was bittersweet as with it came rushing back a flood of wonderful memories. As you grow up and get further away from childhood it seems that your memories become fuzzy and far away but this is not the case for my memories of a simple, yet somehow magical, little ranch high up in the mountains. I can see everything as clear as day including a perfectly weathered man I simply knew as Calvin. His quiet strength left a big mark on my life. With my deepest sympathy - Heather Seeley Nowakowski
