Calvin H. Cox went to Jesus. He was a native of Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
He served in the Marine Corps from 1952-1954 returning to Spring Valley family ranch. Married Marilyn (Snyder) September 16, 1956. Survived by wife Marilyn, 3 children Barbara (Bert) Bogner, Judy (Mike) Nace, Alan (Donna) Cox. Five grandchildren: Eric (Cari), Bogner, Jason (Kris) Bogner, Wade, Macy, and Chad Cox. Great Grand Children: Lane, Josie, and Sydney Bogner. Aunt Emma Natal, brothers and sisters Paul (Doris) Cox, Nancy Hankins, Joan (Pat) Dalymple, Loren Mayfield, Yvonne (Walt) Sheer, Darlene (Joe) Aldrich, Carmen (Bruce) Kochevar, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calvin and Marilyn (Pa and Ma) befriended many CMC students whom are lifelong friends. Calvin was active at First Baptist Church, New Castle, Co., RFV Co-op and Farm Bureau.
Proceeded in death by parents Loy Cox and Josephine Mayfield, brother; Loy Cox, sister; Stella Lang, Granddaughter Brianna, Bogner, several Aunts and Uncles.
Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday August 1, 2015 Coal Ridge High School, New Castle, CO. Reception Following. In Lieu of Flowers donations to First Baptist Church New Castle, CO Building Fund.
