The boys have created a nursing scholarship in Nancy's name for the college she got her degree from. Upon graduating Houston High School in 1958, she completed her Registered Nursing Degree at St. Francis School of Nursing (now Viterbo University) In lieu of flowers, the family requests cards and memorials be sent to: “Nancy Thorson Deshayes Nursing Scholarship” c/o Paul Deshayes PO BOX 1392 Cortez, CO 81321.
