We met Honey only in the past few months of her life but we will never forget her laughter and sweet spirit. We loved talking to her about Louisiana and sharing recipes of our favorite foods. She talked about missing having a lap full of children’s hugs and kisses. We could see and admire her inner strength and independence, and listened as she talked about how hard it was to begin losing those abilities. She missed the person she had always known herself to be. We think of her now, free of those earthly bonds, the high flying angel that she surely loved becoming. Honey was a truly beautiful soul, and her light will continue to shine brightly in the legacy of her love.
