James Thomas Moran 85, of Aspen, Colorado passed away March 28, 2015. James was born March 9, 1930 in Madison Wisconsin to Frank and Mary Moran. James served in the army and he was involved in many organizations where he volunteered his time which included the Aspen Historical Society, Pitkin County Library, and Community Health. He was the former president of Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Delegate to the American Bar Association. He also served 11years on the University Hospital Board of Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Louise Moran, stepson Steven Dean Wenzel. He is preceded in death by his son Charles Thomas Moran, parents Mary and Frank Moran, and Brother David Moran. A memorial service will be held Thursday April 2, 2015 at 3:00pm at the Prince of Peace Chapel in Aspen, Colorado. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions be made to the Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation.
