Our Friend Terry-
Terry started to become our Summer Friend in the mid 1960's as he & his family ran a wonderful mountain lodge at our annual summer destination of Aspen, Colorado. His warm, friendly smile, enthusiasm, and fantastic abilities as a mountain man, made him the perfect go to guy as kind of a river-fishing guide and welcome committee all in one. I can still see him pulling up early in the a.m. to pick my Dad & I up for a dazzling day of fishing in the Roaring Fork River.
Also, Terry lived & worked later on at the Gant, where he let us come swimming & listen to the latest music with him.
To this day, I still play racquetball remembering how Terry showed me how to do low shots, although I still haven't come close to his level of skill, & haven't seen anyone else who has either.
Terry, you're like the big brother I never had, or because of you, did have. I look forward to our next fishing expedition, racquetball game, or record-listening session in the next life. This life is so much better with you in it. Your friend, H.tim-
