Obituary for Scott Patterson

Scott Patterson at the age of 60 went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 23, 2015. He was surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Ludington Michigan where he loved to visit every summer, even after moving to Snowmass, CO in 1977. Upon moving he started work at Stonebridge Condominiums as a maintenance man and he quickly worked his way through the ranks to become the general manager. Which he sustained that role up until his passing. Scott is survived by his loving wife Terrie of 27 years and two children Mariah and Daniel, his Uncle Keith, Sister Irene, Brother Bruce and their families along with in-laws John and Judy and their children.

Scott was a wonderful man that was known by many for his caring heart, good sense of humor and great sense of business. Through the help of his great staff, they succeeded in making Stonebridge Condominiums one of the top places to stay in Snowmass Village. Scott made it such an enjoyable work environment, that many of his employees have remained at Stonebridge Condominiums over the years and became like family. Many of the owners not only saw him as a manager of their property, but a close friend as well. Scott always had a smile on his face and always made everyone feel important. He was a remarkable man that had passion for Stonebridge Condominiums as well as all of Snowmass.

In addition to working, Scott had many different hobbies and interests. One of his favorite things to do was to spend time with his family camping, fishing, dirt biking and riding horses. He was a proud member of the Aspen Elks Club and The Ludington Sons of The American Legion. Scott also participated/donated in a weekly card game with close friends. Furthermore, he enjoyed spending time with his family every summer at his cabin in Michigan. Scott will be dearly missed by the whole community. A Memorial Service celebrating his incredible life will be held at Grace Church in Emma at 2pm on Saturday September 19th 2015.
