Eric R. Weidmann, 66, of Carbondale, Colorado, born March 24, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri, died on Wednesday, August 19, 2015.

Eric was a graduate of Belleville Township High School, Belleville, IL, Duke University and Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was retired, having served as president of Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Gunn Weidmann.

Surviving are his wife, Anne Thornton Weidmann; children, Megan (Joseph) Sustar of Belleville, IL, Andrew Weidmann of Boulder, CO and Lindsay (Jeremy) Facknitz of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughters, Siena, Elizabeth, Margaret and Caroline Sustar, and Elaine Facknitz; father, Homer W. Weidmann; sisters, Carolyn “Dede” (Thomas) Farquhar, and Nanon (David) Anderson, and their children; and sister-in-law Jane Thornton.

Funeral services will be private. If desired, contributions in Eric’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
