Mary Elizabeth Flanigan, 46, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17th, at her home in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Mary was born in Mesa, AZ, on September 26th, 1968, to Royce and Patricia Flanigan.

Mary worked at the Hot Springs Lodge and Pool for 26 years and was known by her colleagues and friends as a caring and loving individual who always put others before herself. Mary was a very creative and artistic person who loved making crafts. Her favorite time of the year was fall, and she loved Halloween. Mary enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp and spend time in the wilderness. She enjoyed visiting West Virginia and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite hobby was antiquing and collecting vintage Halloween items.

Mary is survived by her mother, Patricia Flanigan of Glenwood Springs, CO; brother, John Flanigan and is wife Michelle of Thornton, CO; sister, Annette Flanigan Crowley and her husband Tom of Clarksburg, WV; brother, David Flanigan of Clarksburg, WV; nephews, Garrett Flanigan of Thornton, CO, Ryan Roberts and his wife Helen of Nutter Fort, WV, and Michael Flanigan of Clarksburg, WV; nieces, Bailey Flanigan of Thornton, CO, and Tiffany Flanigan of Clarksburg, WV. In addition, she is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins in West Virginia and her golden retriever and companion, Mason, whom she spoiled with many toys and treats.

She was preceded in death by her father, Royce Flanigan, in 1991. Mary was Catholic by faith.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 26th, at 4PM at the Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs, CO.
