It is with deep sorrow that the family and friends of Dorothy Davis of Carbondale, Colorado announce their loss. Dorothy passed away in Durango, Colorado at the age of 77. Dorothy is the daughter of Ivan A and Georgia V McCarthy. Dorothy loved her family and friends, gardening, going to her sons go kart races and numerous other family functions.

She is survived by her husband Johnny, son Jet & Cindy, daughter Deana & Tom.

Brothers John & Bill, sister Eilene (John) Cooper. Grandchildren Gary, Tracy, Diana and Chad. 7 great grandchildren Kirsten, Hunter, Brenna, Kyle, Balian, Damien, and Donovan. Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, sons Chuck & Bill, sister Helen and sister-in-law Taeko.

Graveside services at Evergreen Cemetery in Carbondale at 2 p.m. February 20, 2015 with reception to follow from 3-5 p.m. at the 3rd Street Center in the Callaway Room. Viewing will be held at Farnum-Holt Mortuary in Glenwood Springs on Thursday February 19, 2015 from 5-8 p.m.
